Marianna Ferrara Fashion Show

A couple of weeks ago I had the honor to be the "godmother" of Marianna Ferrara's fashion show in Forte dei Marmi.

Marianna is a very talented fashion designer who has now a very challenging goal: Milan Fashion Week runways.

I truly believe that she is going to make it for 2 reasons: the quality of the fabrics that she selects and the creatilvity in finding new materials.

The presenter of the event was the Italian actor Gianluca Magni and I had the great opportunity to meet 2 fellow bloggers, Sandra of Smilingchic and Eleonora of Once Upon a Time.

Blogvorstellung I

Endlich ist es soweit... Lange hat es gedauert, doch es war auch wirklich sehr zeitintensiv, sich durch alle eure Seiten zu klicken. Ich habe mir überlegt die Blogvorstellung in mehrere Teile zu gliedern - "Klasse statt Masse" heißt es ja auch... So seid ihr nicht überfordert und die vorgestellten Blogs bekommen hoffentlich mehr Aufmerksamkeit :) Und los gehts:

Die erste Bloggerin, die ich hier vorstelle, heißt Joleena (ziemlich cooler Name fällt mir gerade auf). Joleena studiert Kommunikationsdesign in Hamburg, was sich natürlich auch auf ihren Blog "Based" auswirkt - da werden die süßen Outfits nämlich gleich wunderschön festgehalten. Es gibt also Fashion und Fotografie  - und was ich auch noch ganz toll finde: Bloggers ask Bloggers - hier werden Blogger/Innen vorgestellt, indem sie bestimmte Fragen (z.B.über Mode) beantworten. 

Telephone Dress

I guess you could say this is me getting into the queens diamond jubilee with this super british inspired look with my union jack clutch and my wonderful telephone booth dress from romwe. So if you haven't noticed I've jumped on the prints bandwagon, everything i'm wanting to buy at the moment has some kind of image or pattern print it's insane! I guess maybe it's my laziness coming out in what I wear, what else do you need if you have an awesome statement dress with a bold image on it. Why did I add my faux fur coat to this one then? Well it would look fine without it but I figured for me to truly wear an outfit that I would like to think is London/ England inspired I'd have to rug up without taking away from the dress. This is the sort of outfit I'd wear to a dinner, something fancy for sure!

A Lack of Color

English: I have this dress from Romwe for some time now (those who follow me on facebook are aware of that) but I never managed to wear it because it is short, too short, even for me, the girl who is always showing her legs. Wear it today was a challenge because the wind decided to be funny and make my almost nonexistent dress dance with the air. If it was not its darling collar and its delicate color I would certainly put it aside.
But no more dressy dress talk, this week marks the true beginning of my summer (ok, I still have a few exams) because of the festival Primavera Sound at Porto that I'll attend. I'm going to see some of my favorite bands and enjoy the spirit of summer festivals. About what I'm going to dress, well, this is the most sensitive issue because I never know what to wear at summer festivals but I can guarantee that confort is the key word.

Português: Tenho este vestidinho da Romwe já há bastante tempo (quem me segue no facebook sabe disso) mas nunca o consegui usar por ser curto, aliás, demasiado curto, até para mim que sou a menina que anda sempre de pernas ao léu. Usá-lo hoje foi um desafio visto que o vento decidiu ser matreiro e fazer com o que o quase que inexistente vestido andasse sempre pelos ares. Se não fosse a sua golinha maravilhosa e a sua cor delicada já estaria certamente para o lado mas sendo ele tão querido não me consigo desfazer dele.
Mas vestidos ao lado, esta semana marca o início verdadeiro do meu verão (ainda tenho exames mas não faz mal) porque começa o Primavera Sound no Porto e eu vou marcar presença. Vou poder ver algumas das minhas bandas favoritas (e tantas que elas são) e aproveitar o espírito dos festivais de verão. Quanto ao que vou levar para vestir, bem, isso é um assunto mais delicado pois eu nunca sei o que vestir em festivais mas posso garantir que o conforto é a palavra chave.
